The complex graphic design that Denis Meyers used to create the Duvel Collection glass was a result of the mix of intuition and precision that characterises his work, where artistic licence meets the rigour of typography.

Denis Meyers’ work is above all the work of the eye and mastery of gesture. Whether he is cutting, drawing, printing or taking photographs, everything passes through his eye and his hand. A tireless surveyor of the urban landscape, his work is born and raised on the streets, forever revisiting this theme. Trained as a typographer, he likes to repeat and mix the motifs, faces and colours that he draws from this impersonal and nameless breeding ground until he has given them another value that is ephemeral, raw and immediately identifiable. Little by little he is compiling an original and terribly contemporary archive of our cities.
