Multi-talented Belgian artist Daan Stuyven is best known for his musical endeavours as a vocalist and guitarist fronting the bands Dead Man Ray and Daan. Creator of Belgium’s greatest ever dance classic, “Housewife”, Daan is an award-winning performer, producer and video director who’s also contributed to many other artists’ projects. As a graphic designer, he has created cover artwork for numerous CDs.

Described by fans as “The Belgian King of electro-kitsch-rock music”, Daan fuses a diversity of styles from rock and pop to electronica and dance. His trademark dark, ironic lyrics mix with playful melodies and imagery, successfully crossing boundaries between experimentation, expression and chart hit appeal.

Daan’s Duvel design features an image of him taken in the iconic bad-boy style which immortalised Johnny Cash, Sinatra and Steve McQueen.

In 2011 releases from Daan Stuyven’s current band “Daan” will finally be available throughout Europe.
