Hidden for way too long in Amsterdam’s independent scene, Dutch artist Parra emerged a few years ago. He has been making a name for himself all over the world ever since.

Parra stands out by his iconic use of bright colours, beautiful hand-drawn typography and surreal esoteric characters. Men with bird heads, fleshy and voluptuous women with round sensual bodies, mixed with texts and themes that span from sarcastic and introspective to ironic and bold, all the way to nonsensical. Established brands have recruited Parra to customize limited edition products, his hands have illustrated important ad campaigns and his works have been shown in various solo exhibitions around the globe.
